MSM Losing Their Religion on Climate Change

ClimateDepot.com has an excellent roundup with lots of links on the growing mainstream media skepticism over global warming climate change. ClimateDepot.com reports:
2009 can now be officially declared the year the media lost their faith in man-made global warming fears.
It appears at long last that media’s faith is waning. Appeals to authority about the alleged global warming “consensus” are now being met with a healthy dose of skepticism by increasing large portions of the mainstream media. Statements like UN IPCC lead author Kevin Trenberth that the UN IPCC “has spoken” no longer have the comforting effect on many key members of the journalistic flock.
A growing number of peer-reviewed studies and uncooperative weather conditions are becoming harder to ignore. It will be interesting to see what treatment “Not Evil, Just Wrong” receives in the media after its premier Sunday. It will also be interesting to see how certain scientists and media purge the koolaid. It’s doubtful we’ll see many in the MSM say “the deniers are my heroes” any time soon.
Phelim McAleer, co-producer of the “Not Evil, Just Wrong” wonders who else will challenge Gore’s “Truth” and if governments in the U.S. will recognize Europe’s mistakes.
The evidence of environmentalism run amok abounds in Europe. Spain believed the spin that environmental regulation can create “green jobs” and boost the economy. Now the country has 18% unemployment. Britain could suffer blackouts because of policies that require the country to replace coal with fuels like solar and wind power that aren’t readily available or reliable.
Unfortunately for Americans, many of the lawmakers who represent them in Congress seem unwilling to learn from Europe’s mistakes.
“Not Evil, Just Wrong” premier events will be held Sunday in Wichita and Topeka.
