I went to high school with Alan. I have come to know him better in the last 6 years. We need more Americans who have the courage, valor and determination as Alan Olsen. He would truely lay down his life for a friend.

I cant believe I didnt see this untill now. Im Alans first cousin, we grew up together as kids and close knit cousins.
It doesnt surprise me what he did, Alan has came along way after all the nights he was sent out alone with only a gernade launcher as a weapon. Only Alan could survive what he was forced to do. He is strong willed and a man who I would trust my life with in any battle.
Im glad he was finally recognized and Im so very proud of him.
