Candidate Charles Schollenberger files U.S. Senate Financial Disclosure Report
Print This Article
Charles D. Schollenberger (D, Prairie Village) recently filed a Financial Disclosure statement with the Office of the Secretary of the U.S. Senate.
We’ve updated our Kansas Financial Disclosure page with a link to this information, which is also shown below. Schollenberger’s complete report contained a number of very detailed statements, but only the summary pages are included in the online report.
The Office of the Secretary does not at this time publish U.S. Senate Financial Disclosure statements online.
Groups like the Center for Responsive Politics (Open Secrets) and LegiStorm do publish such disclosure reports online for members of the House and Senate, but not for candidates.
The Secretary of the U.S. Senate sends such disclosure reports to the Kansas Secretary of State. But these reports are filed and available only in Topeka at the Secretary of State’s office.
The Kansas Watchdog will continue publishing such Financial Disclosure Reports for other congressional candidates as they become available.
We’re still trying to find out why some federal candidates can file FEC reports, but apparently not file financial disclosure reports with the U.S. Senate or U.S. House until later.
